Starting from the bottom and gradually getting to the top of one’s dream and ambition in life is a great achievement, that is achievable only if one remain focused, determined and must be hardworking.

Giant Brillars FC attacker, Austine Okolie who was called up to the Nigeria U20 side, the Flying Eagles said he is happy that finally he’s been recognized for the hardwork he has put in his game.

The former grassroots player, who played for a host of clubs in the grassroots in Lagos before becoming a professional with Nigeria National League side, Giant Brillars noted that he is focused and believes that with God everything is possible.

“Playing for the Nigeria U20 football team, I felt good, happy and different.

It’s a different kind of feeling but so good.

“When I made the final U20 list, I was surprised and afraid at the same time. When I saw my name I was already thinking that I have started playing for the national team already, so it’s a wonderful one for me.

“The experience playing for the U20 team at the WAFU B U20 tournament was something else. The fun with the coaches and the players, the games, playing with different nationals, with different languages, the experience was so wonderful and it’s a great feat winning the tournament.
