How I plan to work – Obasa

The council leader of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government, Hon. Rasheed Obasa has pledged to leverage on his experience in collaborating with the chairman-elect, Otunba Kehinde Oloyede.

Obasa, who was re-elected as the council leader, said his re-election would allow him to positively influence the laws guiding the community.

With topmost sincerity, he pledged to support the council chairman in the development of the community with all the necessary legal backing needed.

Banking on the experiences gathered in his first term as the leader of the House, Obasa bargained for the best legislative arm in his second term with the cooperation of House members.

After taking the oath of office from the council legal officer, Barr. Mrs Femi Adekoya, the councillors elected their principal officers during which Obasa emerged as the council leader, Hon. Femi Mustapha emerged deputy leader, Hon. Azeez Jaiyeola became the Majority Leader while Hon. Temitope Adeaga was elected Chief Whip.

Other members of the legislative arm include Hon. Khadijat Jimoh, Hon. Kazeem Abayomi and Hon. Wasiu Faluade.
