Hamzat dedicates award to community members.

The Chairman of Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government, Prince Usman Hamzat has dedicated his outstanding meritorious award on poverty alleviation to the residents of the community.
He appreciated the joint support of the people of Ifako-ijaiye towards achieving the great feat recorded.
He said: “I dedicate this award to the good people of Ifako-ijaiye for their advise, support, fatherly love exhibited towards the development journey so far.
“We are poised to do more, to ensure that our people is not subjected to poverty.”
During the award ceremony in Abuja, Hamzat was given a merit award as Most Outstanding Local Government Chairman on poverty alleviation.
He was judged based on series of empowerment programmes he held to support the community members.
Such programmes include provision of support to 500 market women, financial programme for 300 traders, cash empowerment of N50,000 each to about 250 market women.
Others include total number of 12 roads and drainages constructed for the Infrastructural development of Ifako-Ijaiye.
Tijani was presented with 10-seater bus as the first category winner of Nigerian Local Government Chairman Merit Award.
