Golden Star crush Invisible United 4-0

Golden Star FC beat Invisible United hands down in a friendly encounter that ended 4 goals to nil.

The Ejigbo based team led by Emeka Athentius defeated Invisible United as Emeka Athentius grabbed a brace of goals while Nnamdi Ambrose and John Favour got on the score sheet as well.

Golden Star FC who opened the goal account of the match in the 35th minute through Nnamdi Ambrose who was set up by Emeka Athentius to lift the team away from deadlock.

Golden Star FC pushed to add to their tally in the first half but were wasteful in front of goal as they took the lead to the break.

The second half started with Golden Star FC dominating proceedings with impressive play as Emeka Athentius added to the tally in the 58th minute with a beautiful strike which found the right corner of the net with assist from China Uzoma.

Emeka Athentius grabbed his brace of the match in the 66th minute to dash the hopes of Invisible United in an enthralling encounter.

Highly enterprising winger Chinedu Nchoje provided the assist for Emeka Athentius.
Golden Star FC showed more hunger and desire for more goals as the match was grinding to an end and fortunately for them, John Favour scored the 4th goal to add to the misery of Invisible United when Emeka Athentius provided his second assist of the game.
