Forum Of Past Councillors Bestow ‘Awards of Excellence’ On Odumbaku

The Chairman of Ojodu Local Council Development Area, Mr. Olusegun David Odunmbaku has been presented with an “Award of Excellence” by the Forum of Past Councillors (Ikeja Federal Constituency) at the Council Secretariat yesterday .

The Forum, led by Chairman Edward Arogbonfoh, applauded Odunmbaku for his exceptional leadership in local governance.

Arogbonfoh specifically mentioned Odunmbaku’s extensive experience, including his roles in Ikeja LGA and Ojodu LCDA, as crucial to his effective administration.

The Forum appreciated Odunmbaku’s positive relationships with current and former councillors, highlighting his collaborative approach that benefits the entire Ojodu LCDA.

They expressed their readiness to offer support and work together to further enhance governance in the LCDA.

During his acceptance speech, Mr. Odunmbaku conveyed his sincere appreciation for the acknowledgment he received, stating that it inspires him to further his efforts in serving and contributing to community growth.

He recognized the importance of seasoned political figures in leadership and embraced the Forum’s involvement in decision-making.

Moreover, Odunmbaku commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his initiatives in local government reforms and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for creating a favorable environment for local councils in Lagos State. He dedicated the recognition to the residents of Ojodu LCDA, renewing his dedication to their advancement and welfare.
