Fearless Cup screening programme ends, 24 players selected

No fewer than 24 players have been selected in the just concluded Fearless Cup two-day screening to seek greener pasture in professional Leagues outside the country.

Many talented youngsters came to showcase their talents, hoping to be selected in the screening process.

One of the selected players, Oluwasegun Farojoye, who impressed the scouts with his attacking move and ruthless defensive approach, said he felt overwhelmed that he was picked and thanked the scouts for giving him the opportunity to prove his ability.

He said: “I felt good and overwhelmed that I was picked at the final. I just want to thank God for the opportunity the sponsors gave to us. I am very glad that I was one of the lucky players selected.”

Nnamdi Peter, a modern day defensive midfielder, disclosed that he worked very hard to get to the final stage as he appreciated the management of Fearless Cup for bringing him a step closer to his dream.

The CEO of Fearless Cup, Mrs. Renda Udan, expressed her satisfaction over the number of talents on parade at the screening programme.

She said: “I am satisfied with the number of talents and we also want the players to be committed to their career.

“The players will be promoted and their videos will be sent to our clients abroad to assess them for selection.”
