The family of Nigerian gospel singer Toluwanisings has announced October 27, 2026, for his service of songs and night of tributes, following his sudden death.
The family made the announcement in a post on the singer’s social media page on Wednesday.
According to the announcement, the event will hold at the Hall of Grace, Jogor Centre, Ibadan, Oyo State, at 3 pm.
The service will honour the late singer, whose real name was Olayemi Bayonle Bolaji.
“We invite you to join us for a Night of Tributes and Service of Songs in honour of our beloved brother, friend, and gospel minister, Olayemi Bayonle Bolaji, fondly known as Toluwanisings,” the post read.
DAILY POST reports that Toluwanisings died on October 14, 2026, hours after ministering at a praise concert organised by fellow gospel singer Bidemi Olaoba in Ibadan.
His death has continued to generate reactions on social media, with celebrities and other Nigerians expressing grief and raising concerns about the country’s emergency healthcare system.
According to his personal assistant, the singer slumped at his residence and died after allegedly being turned away by eight hospitals in Ibadan because of a lack of emergency medical equipment.
The reported circumstances surrounding his death have sparked calls for improved emergency healthcare services and better access to life-saving treatment in Nigeria.
