Residents and business owners in Eti-Osa East LCDA have been placed on notice as the Executive Chairman, Hon. Dr. Biliaminu Samson Agunbiade, issued a firm directive against non-compliance with environmental sanitation regulations.

In a public warning, the chairman expressed concern over the growing disregard for monthly sanitation exercises and the illegal dumping of refuse on road medians, drainage systems, and other unauthorised locations across the council area.

He cautioned that individuals and businesses found violating these environmental laws will face strict penalties, including fines and possible prosecution, in line with existing regulations.

The council boss urged residents to take responsibility for their environment by actively participating in sanitation exercises, properly disposing of waste through approved channels, and maintaining clean surroundings at all times.

The statement reinforces the LCDA’s commitment to promoting a cleaner, safer, and healthier environment for all, while warning that enforcement will be intensified against defaulters.
