Eshilokun Reveals Social Pact With Constituency, Dissolves Campaign Council

The newly sworn-in Senator for Lagos Central Senatorial District, Okanlomo Wasiu Eshilokun Sanni has unveiled his social pact with the people of his constituency at Eko Club, as he expressed his appreciation to the members of his campaign council, party leaders, and all strategic stakeholders that contributed to his success at the February 2023 Senatorial election.

The Senator, in the company of his wife, Alhaji Bilkiss Eshilokun Sanni, and children, hosted stakeholders that supported his campaign at an appreciation party where the Wasiu Eshilokun Sanni campaign council was officially dissolved.

At the event, the Senator expressed his appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his wife, Remi Tinubu for their mentorship and support of his political growth over the years.

He particularly appreciated Senator Remi Tinubu for the legacy of good representation and impactful programmes that “I intend to inherit and build upon”.

He also expressed his appreciation to his immediate family for standing by him, the State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and his deputy, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, as well as APC GAC members, led by Prince Tajudeen Olusi, who was physically present.

Eshilokun also thanked members of his campaign council for their dedication to the cause.

He commended party leaders, traditional rulers, executive and political appointees, different trade unions, market women, different professional and religious bodies, the youths, the physically challenged, and community development associations in the Senatorial district for supporting him. He was also grateful to those that financially supported his campaign.

Further into the events of the afternoon was the official launch of his manifesto as contained in a booklet titled ‘Sustaining a Legacy of Excellence, My Social Contract with the People of Lagos Central Senatorial District’.

He promised to always be guided by the tenets of his social pact with his people.

Thereafter, members of the Wasiu Eshilokun Sanni Campaign Council were recognised and presented with certificates of participation.

The party, graced by lots of dignatories and political icons, heads of governmental agencies, House of Assembly members, Chairmen of Local Governments, Lagos white cap chiefs, members of the Eshilokun family, and many other stakeholders, ran late into the evening.
