Ejigbo SLG backs Anibaba

Mr. Paul Fregene, the Secretary to the Chairman of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area, has extended his congratulations to Mr. Habeeb Anibaba on his emergence as The Mandate Movement’s (TMM) flag bearer for the upcoming Local Government Chairmanship election.

Despite being a fellow contender for the position, Fregene acknowledged that the outcome did not favor him, but remains optimistic, drawing inspiration from Pierre de Coubertin’s famous quote: “The most important thing in life is not triumph, but the struggle; the essential thing is not to have conquered but to have fought well.”

Fregene expressed appreciation for the relentless efforts of his campaign team and supporters, commending their unwavering dedication and hard work.

He reassured them that their contributions have not gone unnoticed and he is proud of the campaign they ran together.

He said ‘though we may not have won, our struggle was worthwhile, and we will continue to fight for what we believe in’ .
