Eid-El-Kabir:  Johnson distributes 300 rams to constituents

In an effort to support the Muslim faithful during the last Eid-El-Kabir Festival, the Federal House of Representatives member representing Oshodi-Isolo Constituency II, Engr. Ganiyu Johnson, distributed over 300 rams to members of the 13 wards in the constituency including the All Progressives Congress (APC) party leaders of Oshodi-Isolo Constituency I, state party leaders as well as members of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and other opposition parties.

The politician was considered to be a very generous leader by the constituents for being concerned about their welfare even before he became their representative at the lower chamber of National Assembly.

Speaking while distributing the rams to the beneficiaries at his constituency office in Isolo, Johnson maintained that leadership was about service to humanity.

He stated that the constituents elected him because they had confidence that he would better their living standards, reiterating his promise not to disappoint them as long as God had given him the strength and capacity to serve.

The lawmaker used the opportunity to appeal to the youths to shun violence and all forms of criminality, as he prayed that Allah guide and bless all of them at Eid-El Kabir.
He said that he would do everything within his power to ensure that the people would have one of the best constituencies in Lagos State.

He disclosed that among the programmes he had earmarked for the constituency was one that would engage the youths, according to him, if the youths were meaningfully engaged, the level of crime in the constituency would reduce.

The former Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure used the occasion to appeal to Nigerians irrespective of ethnic or religious bias to be patient with the ruling APC, saying no meaningful progressive would ever thrive in a state of lawlessness.

He stated that the party had a good agenda to transform the country and it would only happen in an atmosphere of peace.
