Egunjobi felicitates Muslims as Ramadan fasting begins

The Chairman of Agege Local Government, Mr. Ganiyu Kola Egunjobi has urged Muslims in the local council to embrace the teachings of Islam found in the holy book during Ramadan and beyond.

 This message was conveyed in a statement issued by his media aide on Monday, March 11, 2024.

“I urge all Muslims to remain steadfast during this period with show of love and affections towards people of other faiths in emulation of the prophet, peace be upon him; to enable us cleanse ourselves from sins and also attain the rewards, while promoting peace and harmony among all residents.

“Let me also assure that the security agencies and the stakeholders’ collaborative efforts have yielded positive results and they are not relenting on their efforts to always ensure Agege residents enjoy peaceful community.
