Just like the soothing affirmation made by the Divisional Police Officer of Ago-Oke Police Station about the calmness and crime-free situation of Ago-okota Community, the DPO Ire Akari Police Station,DSP Timothy Falowo also on the same course, assures Community residents of their unwavering safety, as he claims the community is as calm as usual.
Speaking in a chat with Echonews, the DPO declared with confidence :” the community is as calm as usual, no major crime, even we the police now have less to deal with. Community safety is intact”.
Commending the community for maintaining peace during the electioneering period, he urged the residents to maintain the course.
Speaking on the challenges faced by the station in protecting the citizens, DSP Falowo appealed to the newly-elected chairman of Isolo Local Council Development Area, Hon. Shamsudeen Olaleye to assist the station to repair a patrol van which was abandoned because of inadequate funds.
He said the repairs will improve routine patrol of the community, “one of our patrol vans have been down for over four months, no one in the community seemed concerned about it. We want the government, especially the newly elected local council chairman to hep us restore ethe bus to its functioning condition to improve our routine patrol”, he concluded.
