Dr Agbaje Celebrates Ikorodu Division Apex Leader, Sen Ogunlewe At 82

The Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, has celebrated Senator Kingsley Adeseye Ogunlewe, former Minister for Works and respected Apex Leader in Ikorodu Division, on the occasion of his 82nd birthday.

In a heartfelt congratulatory message, Dr. Agbaje described Senator Ogunlewe as “a distinguished statesman whose exemplary leadership, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to public service continue to inspire generations across Lagos State and Nigeria at large.”

Senator Ogunlewe, a prominent member of the Lagos Governance Advisory Council (GAC), has long been regarded as a towering figure in the socio-political development of Ikorodu Division. His influence spans decades of service, marked by strong advocacy for infrastructure development, mentorship of emerging leaders, and a deep-rooted drive to empower young people.

Dr. Agbaje underscored the senator’s lifelong devotion to education—one of the most defining pillars of his legacy.

“His passion for education and human capital development has opened doors of opportunity for countless youths,” he noted.

Widely respected for his national service as Minister for Works, Senator Ogunlewe is celebrated for his relentless push for improved infrastructure across Lagos State. Yet, within Ikorodu Division, his legacy transcends public office. He is revered for his role in community building, institutional strengthening, and raising generations of leaders who continue to draw from his guidance.
