Former Big Brother Naija housemate Dorathy Bachor has asked social media users to stop interfering in her private life as rumours about her relationship with comedian Broda Shaggi continue to attract attention.

The reality TV star’s reaction followed fresh speculation that the comedian may have proposed to her after she showed off a gold ring on social media.

Dorathy had shared a picture of the jewellery and asked women whether their partners could afford a similar piece, writing: “Can your man buy you 150 pounds carat gold ring?”

The post, alongside a loved-up video featuring her and Broda Shaggi, quickly got people talking, with many wondering if the ring was an engagement gift.

However, Dorathy appeared unhappy with the growing interest in her personal affairs. She took to social media to express her frustration, saying: “For someone who minds her business, you people really love to poke me. Leave me alone.”

This is not the first time the pair have given fans reasons to speculate about their relationship.

In March 2026, Broda Shaggi shared romantic pictures with Dorathy, describing her as his “missing rib” and expressing his desire to spend forever with her.

The comedian also publicly appreciated her for standing by him after he survived a gunshot incident, a gesture that further fuelled conversations about their closeness.

Although their social media exchanges have continued to attract attention, neither the latest ring display nor the loved-up video has confirmed that an engagement has taken place.
