Doctors say strangled Uber driver was a radiologist

The Nigeria Medical Association, NMA has clarified that the strangled Uber driver, late Mr. Oluwaniyi Morenikeji was a radiologist.
A radiologist  uses X-rays or other high-energy radiation for investigation or treatment of conditions.
A statement by the chairman, ad-hoc committee on security, Dr. Festus Emiogun disclosed that, following the press report that he was a a medical doctor, the ody checed its records and visited the family to establish the truth of the claim.
According to Dr. Emiogun, the The NMA Lagos received with shock the sad news of the alleged gruesome murder of one Oluwaniyi Morenikeji by passengers he gave an uber ride in the Abule-Egba area of Lagos on Sunday 5th September, 2021.

“We have confirmed this incidence with the Nigeria Police, Lagos State command. However, it is important to note that further investigation after NMA Lagos reached out to the family of the deceased has revealed that *Mr. Oluwaniyi Morenikeji was not a medical doctor but a Radiographer* who graduated in 2017.
