DevEast Opens Opportunities for Entrepreneurs and Student Innovators
DevEast Development Initiative has wrapped up the sixth edition of its Entrepreneurship Week, reaffirming its commitment to supporting young entrepreneurs, small business owners and student innovators across Nigeria’s South-East.
The annual programme brought together entrepreneurs, students, innovators, business leaders and other stakeholders for a series of activities focused on strengthening enterprise development and encouraging young people to turn ideas into sustainable ventures.
This year’s edition placed particular emphasis on entrepreneurship, innovation, skills development and access to opportunities, creating a platform for participants to gain practical knowledge while connecting with potential mentors and collaborators.
Supporting the Next Generation of Enterprise Leaders
Through the programme, DevEast sought to address some of the challenges confronting emerging entrepreneurs, particularly limited access to business knowledge, networks, funding opportunities and mentorship.
Participants were exposed to sessions designed to improve their understanding of business development, innovation, leadership and strategies for building resilient enterprises.
