Council sensitizes community on responsibilities of safeguarding children

The council of Lekki LCDA has educated adult residents on basic principles in safe guarding and protecting the wellbeing of children.
It decribed the basis of abuse and neglect as one of the important ways in which adults neglects children.
The council boss, Hon. Rasaki Kasali represented by the Chief of Staff, Hon. Fatai Taiwo remarked that children are unique beings that requires adequate care for their loveliness.
He said that the role communication plays in child care goes a long way as effective communication might in some cases prevent the manifestation of bad ideas in kids.
He emphasized on the confidentiality on how to protect discussed cases by children and how to handle complaints wisely without affecting parties involved.
Taiwo appealed that the council expect to record more harmonious cases with the aim of treating children equally as they expect resident to key into the idea of the government.
