Clean Sheets Dominate SJ OdiOlowo Chairman’s Cup Matchday 16

The SJ OdiOlowo Chairman’s Cup (OCC) Matchday 16 produced a series of emphatic results across four categories on Tuesday, with Oskay delivering the standout performance in a 13-0 thrashing of FC Phoenix in the U19 division at the Jide Sanwo-Olu Arena, Ilupeju, OdiOlowo Ojuwoye LCDA.
The SJ OdiOlowo Chairman’s Cup entered into a different classic attention as clean sheets were recorded for the first time in the tournament across all categories.
21 goals were netter in the four categories in contention in matchday 16 as four wins and four losses were recorded without any draw witnessed in the matches on display.
In the U19 category, Oskay were ruthless from start to finish, overwhelming FC Phoenix 13-0. The result underlined Oskay’s attacking dominance and left Phoenix with a heavy defeat to reflect on.
The U13 category also saw a convincing home win as Adeola FA defeated Monak FA 3-0. Adeola controlled proceedings and converted their superiority into a solid three-goal victory.
In the U15 category, Varsity FA secured a professional 2-0 win over Action Lion. The result kept Varsity’s campaign on track with a clean sheet and three valuable points.
The Women’s category followed a similar pattern, with DreamStar Ladies claiming a 3-0 victory against Jojo Queens. DreamStar’s clinical finishing ensured another comfortable win and maintained their strong form in the competition.
All four matches on Matchday 16 ended in clean sheets for the winning sides, highlighting strong defensive displays alongside the attacking returns. The results leave the various category tables updated as the SJ OdiOlowo Chairman’s Cup continues.
