Charity football is about giving back to the less privilege – Yemi Fortune

The convener of Charity Football, Yemi Fortune in a chat with ECHONEWS stated his reasons for convening Charity Football.

Yemi Fortune who is a sport talent manager and a football club owner disclosed that Charity Football is about giving the necessary needs and wants to the less privilege and orphanages in the society.

The event which will feature football exhibition matches between former active footballers, football managers and grassroots footballers.

“Charity football is an initiative centered around raising Money, food stuffs, clothings, toiletries etc., for the orphanage, needy and the less-privileged. This is all about giving back to the society in a footballing way. Football Veterans, ex international, Managers ,agents, coaches, male & female professional players and grassroots footballers are going to be on parade for the charity football novelty Games.

“Everything, the Money, food stuffs, clothes, toiletries etc., generated from this Charity football event will be given out to the orphanage, the needy and less-privileged.

“As a football manager and a sport ambassador. I’m here to prove to people that best campaign for charity can be done with or through Football because Football is an expression of love. Football is all about love and cares. And anything about love, relationship, affection, compassion, I owe it Football.

“On the other hand, I believe this will instill the habit of Charity and humanity into our potential youth in sport.”
