The chairman of Ifako-ijaiye Community Development Committee (CDC), Pastor Samuel Opajobi has appealed to all residents to cooperate with the government in developing the community.

Opajobi acknowledged the recognition given to the CDC by the council chairman, Prince Usman Hamzat, saying it has allowed the Committee to carry out its community duties seamlessly.

He noted that over 120 registered Community Development Associations (CDAs) in Ifako-Ijaiye enjoy the council’s support.

He called on the public to pass vital information to the right security channel for effective sanity in the community.

He warned community leaders not to shoulder trouble emanating from the community hoodlums but to file their complaints to be submitted to necessary security personnel to handle matters.

He advised parents to educate their wards to keep off night crawling and be useful to themselves for the life ahead of them.

He further commended the effort of the newly deployed Division Police Officer ( DPO), saying that the community has witnessed changes concerning security issues.

He, however, appreciated the council chairman- Hamzat, the Federal House of Representative member, Benjamin Olabinjo, and the State House of Assembly representative  Adewale (ATA ) for their support and cooperation towards Ifako-ijaiye development.

Opajobi reiterated that Ifako-ijaiye CDC will continue to do its best to maintain the 2022 best CDC position among other CDCs in 57 LGAs/LCDAs.
