Call for Applications: TEEEM Foundation Offers Up to $30,000 in Community Grants
The TEEEM Foundation has opened applications for its 2026 Community Impact Grant Programme.
The foundation is offering between $5,000 and $30,000 to nonprofit and charitable organisations worldwide working to improve lives and deliver sustainable, community-driven solutions.
The initiative supports organisations addressing pressing social and economic challenges through education, youth development, healthcare, empowerment, entrepreneurship and community development.
Applications are open from August 17 to November 1, 2026, providing an opportunity for eligible organisations, including those operating in Nigeria, to seek financial support for projects that demonstrate measurable and lasting community impact.
According to the foundation, the programme prioritises locally led initiatives that involve communities in identifying challenges and developing practical solutions. Applicants are expected to demonstrate strong leadership, responsible financial management and a clear strategy for sustaining their projects beyond the funding period.
Grant Categories and Funding
The TEEEM Foundation offers funding across three categories, depending on the scale of the proposed project and its anticipated impact.
Community Grants: $5,000 to $10,000 for grassroots initiatives and local projects addressing specific community needs.
Growth Grants: $10,000 to $20,000 for organisations seeking to expand successful programmes and reach more beneficiaries.
Transformational Grants: $20,000 to $30,000 for large-scale initiatives with the potential to deliver significant, long-term and sustainable change.
Organisations requesting amounts outside these ranges may also be considered. However, funding decisions will depend on the foundation’s assessment, and successful applicants may receive either the full amount requested or partial funding.
Areas of Focus
The Community Impact Grant Programme supports nonprofit and charitable organisations working across several development priorities.
These include education and youth development, particularly initiatives that improve access to learning, build leadership skills and create opportunities for young people.
Other eligible areas include health and essential needs, such as food security, access to medical care and support for vulnerable populations.
The foundation also welcomes initiatives promoting equality and empowerment, including women’s empowerment and gender equity, as well as projects that strengthen entrepreneurship, improve livelihoods and expand economic opportunities.
Community infrastructure and sustainable development projects are also eligible, particularly those designed to address locally identified challenges and deliver measurable results.
Who Can Apply?
The programme is open to nonprofit and charitable organisations operating worldwide that are committed to improving lives and strengthening communities.
Eligible organisations should demonstrate a clear understanding of the needs of their target communities, strong organisational leadership and sound financial stewardship.
Applicants are also expected to present community-centred solutions, explain how their proposed projects will create measurable outcomes and demonstrate how the impact can be sustained over time.
Organisations should review the official application form for the complete eligibility criteria, documentation requirements and other conditions before submitting their proposals.
How Applications Will Be Evaluated
The TEEEM Foundation will assess applications based on five key considerations: alignment with its mission and values, organisational capacity, demonstrated community need, sustainability and anticipated impact.
Applicants should therefore clearly explain the problem their projects intend to solve, identify their target beneficiaries, outline their implementation plans and provide realistic measures for evaluating success.
A detailed and credible budget, evidence of community engagement and a clear sustainability strategy will help organisations demonstrate their readiness to manage the proposed initiative.
