Busari Assembles 25-Player Flamingos Squad As FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Preparations Kick Off In Abuja

Nigeria U17 head coach, Hakeem Busari has invited 25 players to the camp of the U-17 women’s national team as preparations begin for this year’s FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco, scheduled for 17 October to 7 November.

The Flamingos booked their place at the global finals by defeating Benin Republic home and away in the final round of African qualification. Nigeria has missed only one edition of the tournament since it was launched in New Zealand in 2008 the 2018 finals in Uruguay.

All invited players have been directed to report to the Serob Legacy Hotel, Wuye, Abuja, on Sunday, 30 August 2026.
