Breaking news: Obe cleared, Ajayi finally disqualified

The Lagos State APC Screening Committee has finally disqualified Mr. Peter Ajayi, while the incumbent chairman of Ejigbo LCDA, Hon. Monsuru Bello Obe was cleared.

The disqualification of Ajayi has left Obe alone to be the lone aspirant seeking the party’s ticket contest the local government election slated to hold on June 24, 2021.

ECHONEWS had earlier reported that Ajayi was disqualified as he failed to present his credentials including PVC, Birth certificate on the screening day before he was considered to represent the credentials.

However, the result of the screening released by the committee indicated that Ajayi has been disqualified from contesting the party’s primary scheduled to hold on Saturday, May 29.
