Bello inspects Ejigbo multipurpose building to assure quality

The Executive Chairman of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area, Hon. Monsurudeen Bello, has visited the multipurpose building to inspect the ongoing project in order to make sure the work was being done in accordance with the given guidelines and that the contractor has not deviated from the agreed quality.

Bello, who was accompanied by the Supervisor For Works and Infrastructure, Ojo Ayotunde Emmanuel, stated that the visit was to serve as check and balance on the contractor, which he described as a necessary action to achieve required result on the project.

The local council boss disclosed that at completion, the hall would accommodate multiple users for different purposes at the same time.

According to him, the hall, would serve as a source of income for the local government, as recreation center, as a center of ceremony as well as a place where associations and organizations could hold their meeting, adding that the building has about 19 halls to accommodate 19 different associations having their meetings simultaneously.

“For the artisans, we promised to have a multipurpose hall in which about 19 associations can hold their meeting at the same time, to the glory of God, we have secured a 3-storey building still under renovation. We can also have events in that building. It is a matter of applying to the government; pay a token to use the hall,” he explained.
