Aspirant seeks support in Ejigbo for House of Reps ticket

An aspirant to the post of House of Representatives, Hon. Ganiyu Johnson has sought the support of the people of Ejigbo as he attempted to embark on the pursuit of the political position in 2019.

Johnson, popularly referred to as GAJ, yesterday made his way into the council Secretariat, Ejigbo disclosing his ambition to contest as a representative of Oshodi-Isolo Constituency II.

He said that he needed the support of the residents of Ejigbo to achieve the feat.

“My good people, friends, brothers, sisters and my political acquaintances, my name is Ganiyu Johnson, I’m here to inform you about my intent to contest for the House of Representatives seat.

“I am not here to declare yet, but to first seek your approval for my intention to represent you at the House of Representatives come 2019. If you approve it and count me worthy enough to be your representative, then I can go ahead but if you say “no”, then I will sit at my house. Which means my actions will depend on your decisions.

However, the aspirant got the nod of the people as they said he was a right contender.

They chorused, “You are the right person, the good work you have been doing with your private resources will surely speak for you.”

They also described Johnson as the backbone of the helpless people in the community.
