APC Oke-afa ward endorse OBE for 2nd term

The All Progressive Congress Oke-afa ward in Ejigbo LCDA have unanimously endorsed the candidature of the incumbent chairman of Ejigbo LCDA, Hon Monsurudeen Bello OBE at a stakeholders meeting held in order to move the party forward at Oke-afa ward.

The stakeholders in Oke-afa ward comprises of the elders, past Political appointees, present Political appointees, present councilor and past councilors of the ward.

Speaking at the event Chief Mrs Ogungbesan said the party have to stand United and focus on the goal ahead on how to win the incoming local government election as set aside caucus in the party. She added that, she is a follower of late Premier of the western region Obafemi Awolowo and he taught her the politics of loyalty.

Prince Gbadamosi noted that the ward excos shouldn’t appoint lazy people to act as party agent in the polling stations across the ward because they will have to be steadfast in the election day to avoid rigging of election by other parties.

The chairman of APC in Oke-afa ward, Mr Seun Dejo thanked the party stakeholders for giving advice on how to move the party forward and thereby, set the second stage of the event rolling, which is the endorsement of OBE.
