APC candidate flags off campaign

The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the House of Representatives in Ojo Federal Constituency, Hon. Lanre Ogunyemi, has commenced his campaign by sensitizing his supporters on the importance of number in winning elections.

He noted that the numbers of the electorate in each political unit can either make or mar the success of a candidate, charging them to make sure they increase in number for the success of the elections.

Ogunyemi said the party with the highest number usually excels which is why candidates involve in branding and canvassing relentlessly to solicit votes.

He said importantly, the contribution of all residents, be they young or old, towards the success of the election shows a sequential arrangement of how both the candidate and electorate have a dependent nature on one another.

He reasoned that in electoral processes, electorate are engaged in searching for politicians with profitable qualities that involve the track record of their accomplishments, credibility, integrity, probity, character, honesty, soundness and incorruptibility from the inception of their political career.

He encouraged residents in Ojo Constituency to engage in the electoral process, saying their votes count a lot towards their political aspirations.
