Ambode commissions Adisa – Ajibulu road

The construction of Adisa Ajibulu Road with a bridge, at Oshodi, in the Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Area, was conceived amidst others in line with the vision of the present administration, to solve the perennial flooding problems been experienced, at some sections along the road, making the road very difficult to use.
The commissioned project will facilitate an easy flow of movement, of goods and services in the area. In addition, it will also decongest the ever busy Muritala Mohammed Airport Road, by serving as a very effective by-pass for Mafoluku and its environs; bound vehicles.
Welcoming the representative of the Lagos State Governor, Akinwumi Ambode, is the Commissioner for Works, Hon. Babatunde Durosimi-Eti, the Sole Administrator of Oshodi-Isolo, Taoheed, Taiwo Adebayo, the Area F Command Chairman, Rev. Professor Johnson Olatunde J.P, the CDC Chairman of Oshodi, Alhaji Alamutu and the Permanent Secretary, Engr. Temidayo Erinle.
The Sole Administrator, Oshodi-Isolo Local Government, Taoheed Taiwo Adebayo applauded the courage of His Excellency, Akinwunmi Ambode, over the community development project. Adding that the project, is a little example of the progressive development, out of the 114-Road Construction, yet to commence, a demonstration of the governor’s commitment to the people of Lagos, especially Oshodi LGA.
Delivering the Governor’s address, Hon. Babatunde Durosimi-Eti expressed the governor’s excitement towards the people of Oshodi and environs on the commissioning of the newly constructed Adisa Ajibulu Road, which serves as part of the fulfilment of his administration’ campaign promised to ensure inclusive growth and make life more comfortable for the people of Lagos.
Babatunde further said, that the objective was to ease traffic congestion at Muritala Mohammed Airport Road with the aid of the street light, which will also enhance security of lives and properties and promote the socio-economic activities within the axis.
He commended the commitment of the people to their civic obligations especially with regards to payment of taxes. He enjoined all Lagosians, to keep paying their taxes as at and when due, Adding, that this will encourage and propel the administration, to do more in the provision of basic amenities for the benefits of the people.
Disclosing, that the administration is committed to building a state that is traffic free and works for all in every aspect. The Governor thanked the people for their unflinching support and hope for the continuity in the years to come.
The CDC Chairman of Oshodi, Alhaji Alamutu gave a brief comment on behalf of the stakeholders. Alamutu urge all the community leaders to speak to their communities in different Wards, to maintain the road to last longer, pointing out that the community ply the road often than the governor who has given a traffic free and motor able road to access their different residence.
