The presentation of VODA Infrastructure Management Limited’s progress report on the feasibility study for the 18-kilometer Alimosho Bypass Toll Road Project marks a significant development in Lagos State’s efforts to improve transportation infrastructure.

The project aims to decongest the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway and enhance the quality of life for residents, while also increasing revenue from road transportation.

Lagos State Deputy Governor Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, along with key government stakeholders, attended the report presentation, emphasizing the importance of this Public-Private Partnership (PPP) initiative.

The feasibility study, which commenced following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on July 8, 2024, evaluated the technical, financial, and operational viability of the proposed toll road project.

“The aim of the collaborative effort reinforces the Lagos State Government’s commitment to sustainable infrastructure development, ensuring efficient and modern transportation solutions for the state’s growing population”, Dr. Hamzat added.
