Africa Games: Danjuma Eyes Gold In Accra

The Nigeria U20 head coach, Christopher Danjuma has revealed, the team is at the Africa Games for the gold medal.

The Super Falconets have recorded two wins in the competition which came against Morocco and Senegal in the group stage.

Danjuma popularly known as Kurugu said the team are in Ghana with the mentality of being champions once again.

The experienced gaffer believes it’s a pride to go to the U20 FIFA Women’s World Cup as Africa champions and won’t take any match lightly.

“My expectation here is that we came with the mentality of champions and we want to go to the world Cup as champions in Africa and the only way to become champions is to make sure we take every match as a final,” Danjuma said at the semifinal Prematch Presser in Accra.

Defending champions, Nigeria will clash with Uganda at the Cape Coast Stadium, Accra.
