AFCON: Brace Up For A Tough Encounter against Angola – Lookman

Nigeria international, Ademola Lookman says the Super Eagles should brace up for a difficult encounter against Angola in the quarter final of the 2023 Africa Cup Of Nations (AFCON).

The Angolans have had a remarkable run in the AFCON and condemned Namibia to a 3-0 victory in the round of 16.

Lookman believes the encounter against Angola shouldn’t be toyed with considering how difficult it will be.

He said, the team fought hard to get the win against Cameroon and will show no mercy against Angola.

“It’s going to be a difficult game but we are looking forward to it,” Lookman told the Press.

“We fought hard for the win against Cameroon and won’t relent in the next game.

“The Angolan team is good which will make the game more interesting. Our target is to go all the way and we will fight hard to achieve that.”
