Abule Egba Inferno: Ojokoro Chairman Urges Allays Fear

Following the distressing fire incident at Awori Sawmill in Abule-Egba earlier today, Mr. Hammed Idowu D. Tijani (HID), Chairman of Ojokoro Local Council Development Area, has reassured residents that immediate action has been taken to address the situation.

Tijani has urged residents in the Abule Egba area to stay calm and has assured them that the fire service is actively working to combat the fire.

He stated, “A fire service vehicle is already on the scene, and more support is on the way. We urge everyone to remain calm, cooperate with authorities, and contribute to the collective effort to restore normalcy.”

The Chairman has also confirmed that relevant agencies have been notified promptly and are mobilizing resources to comprehensively tackle the incident. He added, “We are coordinating with various agencies, and additional assistance will arrive soon. Your safety is our main priority.”
