Bolaji Muse Ariyoh stated that he has aspired to make the community more efficient by instituting policy and procedure that would enable his government to make data driven decision and maintain constant awareness of community activities.
According to him, the innovation opens a great way to success in digital age, doing business in different and smarter or better way that would make positive difference in terms of value, quality or productivity by using emerging technology of the world.
Ariyoh, who was represented by his vice, Hon. Daisi Oso, emphasised the need for the community to embrace the business app for its advantage to improve service delivery.
He added that the world is going digital and the community must brace up to be part of the global trend, maintaining that for Oshodi, being a commercial hub in Lagos, online business would be a catalyst for economic growth and transactions would become seamless.
During the business application (app) launching, USAID group addressed participants on the need for information technology (IT) which has changed lives of individuals and organizations drastically to boost businesses at the local level considering the online shopping, digital communication and cloud computing through the wave of IT.
Participants were reminded that accurate business planning, effective marketing, global sales, systematic management, real time monitoring and long term business growth could not be achieved at the optimum level without IT.
Prior to the launching, creation of awareness of the business app had took place within the Oshodi market by providing the necessary information about the app to help develop sound decision.
