Harvesters International Christian Centre Mourns Pastor Bolaji John

Pastor Bolaji John of Harvesters International Christian Centre (HICC) has died, with tributes pouring in from church members and associates following the announcement of her death.
Her death was confirmed on a memorial page created in her honour on Saturday, October 31, 2026. However, details surrounding the circumstances of her death were not immediately available.
Pastor Bolaji John served as a campus pastor at the church’s Lekki branch, where she was known among members for her teaching and explanation of biblical scriptures.
One church member, identified on X as @nanya_sapphire, shared an emotional tribute, recalling the appearance of the church’s Senior Pastor, Bolaji Idowu, during Sunday’s service.
According to the member, Idowu appeared visibly distressed while preaching, although she initially attributed his appearance to his regular prayer and fasting routine.
She wrote: “Went to church today, 2 things stood out for me, but decided not to read too much meaning into it.
“Pastor Bolaji Idowu’s face. His face was so dark, swollen, eyes red, he looked lean, and I assumed ‘he’s doing his regular 40 days praying and fasting, or spending time fellowshipping with God’.
“His message, around prophecy and judging God faithful, it felt different.
“Now we know. She was my Pastor, I enjoyed her way of explaining scriptures. The memory of the righteous is blessed. Pastor Bolaji John.”
The post has added to the tributes being shared online by people who knew and worshipped with the late pastor.
