‘Fake Apology’ — Laide Bakare Reacts to Eniola Badmus’ Peace Appeal

Nollywood actress Laide Bakare has rejected the public apology tendered by her colleague, Eniola Badmus, amid their ongoing feud.
Eniola apologised to Laide on Tuesday and appealed for peace between them.
The apology followed criticism of Eniola over her facial expression when Laide’s name was mentioned during an interview with content creator Isbae U.
However, reacting to the apology, Laide described it as fake in a post on her Instagram page.
She simply wrote, “Fake apology.”
The development suggests that the rift between the two actresses remains unresolved despite Eniola’s public appeal for reconciliation.
The feud between the actresses escalated in April 2025 when they were involved in a public altercation at the premiere of the movie Owambe Thieves.
