The second edition of the Bobo Unity Futsal Cup is set to provide another exciting platform for young football talents as 36 secondary schools from across Lagos State converge on Maracana Stadium, Apapa, for the tournament.

36 Schools have been penciled down to participate in the second edition of the competition.

Defending champions, Awodiora Senior Secondary School will kickoff the tournament against Gasikiya School on Friday, October 9

The competition, which is restricted to secondary schools in Lagos, is expected to bring together some of the best emerging talents from the state, with participating schools aiming to make an impression and secure the coveted title.

Following the success of the inaugural edition, organisers have accommodated 36 teams, raising expectations for another fiercely contested championship among the participating schools.

Awodiora Senior Secondary School, winners of the maiden edition, will return to defend their title and face a fresh challenge from schools determined to dethrone them.

The tournament is also expected to serve as an avenue for young players to showcase their skills, gain valuable competitive experience and attract the attention of coaches and talent scouts looking for the next generation of footballers.

Coordinator of the competition, Richard Okolosi assured the participating teams that there will not be any bias towards any team and all schools will be treated equally on the pitch.

He further appreciated the sponsor of the tournament, Mr John Enabudoso also known as Boborazzi (CEO of Ajegunle to the World) for empowering the youths in their formative years.
