Agege Motor Road Declared Clean, Stabilised After Major Clearance Drive

A coordinated clean-up operation along key stretches of Agege Motor Road in Mushin has been completed, restoring order to several previously overwhelmed sections of the corridor.
Teams focused on Mushin-Atewolara, the Agege Motor Road itself, the Ojuwoye Ifelodun Junction corridor, Ojuwoye Junction, Ladipo Bus Stop, and the area opposite Lawrence Adetimehin House after Ladipo Junction. Officials say the affected locations have now been cleared of accumulated refuse and stabilised.
The Lagos State Waste Management Authority (LAWMA), working with state enforcement agencies and the local government, has pledged regular surveillance of the axis. The joint effort aims to stop re-dumping while sustaining strategic waste collection across the corridor.
LAWMA has called on residents, traders and road users to take collective responsibility for keeping the area clean. The agency warned that indiscriminate dumping will no longer be tolerated, stressing that anyone caught dumping refuse illegally will face the full weight of the law.
