Drama On Carter Bridge As Boat Operators Rescue Woman From Lagos Lagoon

A woman was rescued on Tuesday afternoon by the local boat operators after she reportedly jumped into the Lagos Lagoon from the Idumota end of the Carter Bridge in Lagos.

The incident, which occurred during the afternoon, drew the attention of commuters and passers-by on the busy bridge, many of whom watched in shock as local boat operators rushed to the scene. The rescuers successfully pulled the woman from the water alive and brought her to safety in a wooden canoe.
