SJ OdiOlowo Chairman’s Cup Matchday Eight Delivers Thrilling Results

The SJ OdiOlowo Chairman’s Cup (OCC) produced another round of competitive action on Matchday eight, with results ranging from keenly contested draws to narrow victories at the Jide Sanwo-Olu Arena, Ilupeju, OdiOlowo Ojuwoye LCDA.
A total of 12 goals were scored which happens to be the lowest number of goals scored in a single day since the start of the tournament.
In the U8 category, Evergreen FA and Fortune FA served up an exciting 2-2 draw. Both teams displayed attacking flair and determination, exchanging goals in a lively encounter that saw the points shared at the final whistle.
The standout performance came in the U13 age group, where Future Stars FA dismantled HOP FA with a convincing 4-0 victory. Future Stars were clinical throughout, dominating possession and converting their chances ruthlessly to record a comprehensive win.
HB Utility featured in two closely contested matches. In the U15 category, they played out a 1-1 draw against Ghetto Tigers FC. Both sides found the net once in a hard-fought battle that reflected the competitiveness of the fixture. Later, in the U19 category, HB Utility edged Strong Dove 1-0, securing the three points with a solitary goal in a tight contest.
In the women’s category, Victory Queens claimed a narrow 1-0 win over Ablaze Amazon. The single goal proved decisive as Victory Queens held firm to take the victory in a competitive match.
