Alajede of Ijede Land Expresses Gratitude to Community, Leaders After Installation

The newly installed Alajede of Ijede Land, His Royal Majesty Oba Adefarasin Saheed Hassan, Ajanaku II, has expressed deep appreciation to the people of Ijede, government authorities, political leaders, religious bodies, and traditional institutions for the honour and support extended to him following his installation as monarch of the ancient town.
In a letter of appreciation made available to the public, the monarch described his ascension to the throne as a historic responsibility which he has embraced with humility, a strong sense of duty, and a firm commitment to the service of the Ijede people.
Oba Adefarasin Saheed Hassan thanked the community for the trust, support, and confidence reposed in him, noting that such collective goodwill would guide and strengthen his reign.
Kabiyesi particularly acknowledged the vital roles played by traditional leaders, elders, chiefs, religious leaders, youths, women, other stakeholders, and government representatives in ensuring a peaceful and successful installation process. He stated that the unity and cooperation displayed throughout the process reflect the enduring cultural values and strength of Ijede.
Reaffirming his vision for the kingdom, the Alajede pledged to reign with fairness, wisdom, and dedication, stressing that his leadership would be anchored on the promotion of unity, peace, development, and sustainable progress across the community.
He expressed optimism that continued collaboration between the palace, the people, and relevant authorities would usher in a new era of harmony and prosperity for Ijede, while offering prayers for divine guidance and blessings upon the land.
The monarch concluded by thanking all who contributed to the success of his installation and prayed for God’s continued blessings upon Ijede and its people.
