Bolaji Ogunmola Threatens Lawsuit After Airline Cancels Flights Twice

Popular Nollywood actress, Bolaji Ogunmola, has threatened to sue United Nigeria Airline following repeated flight cancellations and delays that left her stranded in Ekiti State.
Ogunmola, who had traveled to Ekiti for work and was scheduled to return to Lagos for another filming assignment on Wednesday, accused the airline of failing to communicate changes to her flight schedule. She revealed that her flight was canceled twice in two days, causing significant disruption to her professional commitments.
In a video shared on her Instagram page on Thursday morning, the actress expressed frustration, saying the airline’s actions had affected her time and livelihood.
“I was supposed to fly yesterday. At the airport, they told me the flight was delayed. After waiting for hours, I was informed the flight was canceled. There was no plan, no communication. I even tried flying from Akure, but nothing worked,” Ogunmola said.
She continued, “This morning, they said the flight would be at 8 a.m., then 9:30 a.m., later 12 p.m., and finally 5:30 p.m. Meanwhile, my crew and production team are already on set. I’m stuck in a state where I don’t know anyone. This isn’t just about my time—it’s about my livelihood. I’ll take this up legally because their actions are unfair and indecent.”
The incident occurred just weeks after the commencement of commercial flight operations in Ekiti State.
