By Emmanuel Daniji
Residents and motorists in Abule-Eko, Ijede, are set to experience smoother movement and improved connectivity following the successful rehabilitation of the Abundant Future Community Development Association (CDA) road in the Igbopa area and its adjoining communities.
The road intervention, which involved extensive laterite filling and proper grading, was executed by the Ijede Local Council Development Area (LCDA) as part of its sustained efforts to upgrade road infrastructure and address long-standing transportation challenges within the community.
The project was carried out under the administration of the Executive Chairman of Ijede LCDA, Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba, and is expected to significantly ease access for residents, reduce travel difficulties, and enhance the movement of goods and services within the area.
Residents have expressed optimism that the improved road condition will positively impact daily economic, social, and commercial activities, while also reducing wear and tear on vehicles.
With the completion of the rehabilitation works, the Ijede LCDA has once again reaffirmed its commitment to grassroots development and responsive governance, prioritizing projects that directly improve the living conditions of residents and promote sustainable community growth across its jurisdiction.
