Tanzania Coach Plans To Neutralize Super Eagles Qualities

Tanzania Coach, Manuel Gomandi has made plans to neutralize the qualities in the Nigeria team at the 2025 Africa Cup Of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco.
The Taifas Stars tackles the Super Eagles in their AFCON opener at the Fez stadium, Fes on Tuesday, December 23.
Gomandi admitted that the encounter against Nigeria won’t come easy as he stated, Tazania is well prepared for the clash ahead.
The tactician backs the Taifas Stars to approach the game with determined mindset and scuttle the attacking threats of the Eagles.
“We are very well prepared, we are excited to be part of this AFCON and we are more than ready for tomorrow’s game. We have a very difficult game but it’s a nice challenge for us,” he said.
“We need to be very careful, work in perfect situation and I’m sure my players will put in extra effort to contain the threat from Nigeria.”
The Argentine coach said they will approach the match with topnotch mentality while maintaining their tactical discipline against Nigeria.
“We need to be realistic, when you see the qualities in the Nigeria team you need to put in more than 100 percent effort to try to neutralize them.
“But our mentality is to try to play and attack as well, we need to be tactically discipline and there should not be any room for mistakes because if you don’t avoid such mistakes the qualities in the Nigerian team can punish you.”
