Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has taken to social media to call out award winning rapper and music executive Olamide, claiming the YBNL boss will one day regret not signing him.
Portable alleged that Olamide overlooked him despite his talent, insisting that the decision would backfire. He said he continues to grow internationally and has built a strong fan base without the support of major labels.
“You will regret not signing me. I believe in God, my phone and my sub. Any disappointment is a blessing. Zazuu, I am blessed internationally, I get fan base,” Portable wrote.
He went on to appreciate British rapper Skepta for supporting him, saying, “If you forget me, my own God no go forget me. God bless Skepta my helper wey carry me from where them stop.”
Portable added that no one can stop his rise when the time is right.
“Olamide Baddo will regret why he no sign me or carry me along again just because I fought for my own right,” he wrote.
“God of Zazuu is coming for you people too, those who dey block my ways. I believe I can fly. Stars don’t beg to shine. God sent my helper to me. I am international so I can be bigger than them.”
He also issued a warning to people he believes are working against him.
“Love who loves you. Support those who support you. Them fit carry you and still hate on you because you no be mumu. If you spoil me for who loves me, you go die young.”
