Residents Trapped in Oyingbo Building Collapse

Residents in a two-storey building in Oyingbo have been trapped following it’s collapse.
The building situated at 54, Cole Street, initially marked for demolition due to it’s fragility, collapsed on Monday unspecified number of people under its rubbles causing more concerns about building collapse in the state.
Officials from the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service responded swiftly and have so far rescued 15 people, with rescuing intervention ongoing.
The injured victims have been taken to nearby hospitals for treatment while authorities continue to urge residents to stay clear of unsafe structures.
