The Chairman of Alimosho Local Government, Hon. Akinpelu Ibrahim Johnson, has urged residents to continue supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration and his re-election bid in the 2027 presidential election.
Speaking at the Presidential Coalition Committee (PCC) Lagos Chapter event held at the Police College, Ikeja, Johnson described the gathering as a pivotal step in mobilising grassroots support for the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
“Today marks a remarkable day in our political history in Alimosho and Lagos State as we commence early campaign and mobilisation efforts for the President ahead of the 2027 general elections,” he said.
The council boss noted that the nation is already witnessing the impact of President Tinubu’s reforms, expressing confidence that Nigerians will soon appreciate the administration’s bold initiatives to reposition the economy.
He also announced the inauguration of mobilisation structures and street captains within the local government to strengthen the campaign council’s outreach efforts.
“We must encourage our people to register for the ongoing Continuous Voters Registration. This is the only weapon we can use to re-elect Mr. President,” Johnson added.
The Presidential Coalition Committee comprises prominent politicians from across the country working to advance President Tinubu’s re-election efforts.
