Nigerian singer Deborah Oluwaseyi Joshua, popularly known as Seyi Shay, has made a startling revelation about her past involvement with the Illuminati, a secret society often linked to the global entertainment industry.

Speaking on the OffAir Podcast with media personalities Gbemi and Toolz, the “Yolo Yolo” crooner disclosed that being part of the Illuminati was a phase in her career.

“That’s when I was in the Illuminati. That’s when I joined the Illuminati. That’s when it was official. Do you understand? I was an Illuminati member,” she said.

While her revelation took many by surprise, Seyi Shay explained that such affiliations were not widely known to fans but were more familiar among people working within the entertainment industry.

“It’s not the fans, guys. It’s the people in the industry — the ones who work with me, work with her, work with that one,” she added.

The singer’s admission reignites long-standing rumours about some Nigerian artists’ alleged ties to the Illuminati, a topic that has often sparked controversy and curiosity among fans.
