Nigeria Star, Muinat Rotimi Shares Ambitious Future

Nigeria U17 star, Muinat Rotimi has set her sights on an ambitious future in her career.
The Nakamura FA midfieder was a standout performer for the Flamingos in their run to qualifying for the 2025 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco.
The ecstatic youngster said her experience playing through the qualifiers was an epic show of memorable moments which improve her abilities as a midfieder, while experiencing other countries culture and traditions.
She described the Flamingos qualification to the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup as an exciting experience for her despite the rigorous qualifiers phase which the team passed successfully.
“Firstly, playing for Nigeria at the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup qualifer was an epic one full of memorable moments which will linger on forever. I experienced some countries cultures while the competitive level of the qualifiers improved my overall abilities as a midfielder.
“I’m so excited being part of the team to qualify Nigeria for the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup that will be held in Morocco. It was a rigorous qualifiers no doubt but I’m glad we came top and it will be a surreal experience to be at the World Cup once again.”
Rotimi added that her target is to play a vital team role in winning the age grade trophy for Nigeria.
She revealed that Brazilian midfield star, Carlos Casemiro is her mentor who she looks up to due to their similarities and style of play.
“I learnt to be disciplined, focused on the pitch at all times, all this played a major role in me during the qualifiers.
“My target is to first make the final list of players for the World Cup in Morocco and also play a major part in winning the trophy for the first time for Nigeria.
“Carlos Casemiro is my mentor in the World of football. We play in the same position and I watched his clips a lot which has also added positive impact to my game. Real Madrid remains my favorite club to play at due to their rich history.”
