Lagos Extend CBT Date for LGSC Recruitment Exercise

The Lagos State Local Government Service Commission (LGSC) has announced an extension of the Computer Based Test (CBT) period for the ongoing recruitment into Local Government Councils and Local Council Development Areas.
Originally scheduled to take place on Monday, July 7, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., the test will now be conducted over five days, from Monday, July 7 to Friday, July 11, 2025.
According to the commission, the decision to extend the schedule was made in response to high traffic and congestion experienced by applicants. The extension is intended to ensure smoother access and greater convenience for all candidates.
Applicants are urged to follow these steps to access and complete their CBT:
1. Visit the LGSC Website:
Go to www.lslgsc.com.ng and click on the Services tab. Use only Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge browsers for best compatibility.
2. Access the CBT Portal:
Click the designated link to enter the test portal.
3. Locate the Login Section:
Look for “Candidate Login”, “User Login Portal”, or simply “Login”.
4. Enter Login Details:
Username: Use the format Name/LGSC/State of Origin (e.g., Emeka/LGSC/Osun). Enter your name exactly as it appears on your Acknowledgement Slip.
Password: Use the last 10 digits of your registration number, excluding the prefix. For example, if your registration number is LSGSC/Ogun/0045770.8857040741, your password would be 8857040741.
5. Login to Your Dashboard:
Click Login or Sign In. Upon successful login, you will be taken to your CBT dashboard.
6. Start the Test:
Read all instructions carefully and click on “Start Test”, “Attempt Test”, or “Begin Selection Test” to begin.
Important Reminders:
Ensure you have a stable internet connection.
Do not refresh or close the browser during the test, as it will end your session.
Your password is the last 10 digits of your Acknowledgement Slip registration number.
Use only the recommended browsers.
Take the test in a quiet, private environment.
